Bad Bottles

My wife has a very well developed sense of humor, and often twists an idea to the absurb.  Here, she took on the issue of sweating bottles and then sent this to the CEO of a popular brewery. It'll make you think...

If you knew who I was you might consider me a valued customer. So, I come to you with this continuing problem. It started back as early as 1993 ( or at least as early as I can legally admit.) I buy Miller Lite beer. I’m devoted! However, it doesn’t appear to matter if I buy can’s or bottles. Somebody tried to tell me that they were sweating and I thought to myself “ Duh! Even I know something this cold and refreshing is not going to sweat!” Then it Dawned on me. I open the container of beer and I have a few sips, it appears to be doing this “sweating” thing and then it’s gone. So I try another. What do ya know? Same thing!! Argggh. All of them do this to me. So I continue to buy more, determined to find one that doesn’t have this issue.

I’m not a rocket scientist but, it’s so obvious that these beer containers are not sweating. They have microscopic pinholes, they leak! Or at least all the ones that I have come in contact with. So then I ask a few of my fellow devoted Miller Lite friends and, we have agreed your containers do indeed leak. This is the only explanation for why they empty so quickly.

Over the course of my drinking career, I have spent a countless amount of hours trying to figure this out. I thought it may be helpful to bring this to your immediate attention. I will continue to drink Miller Lite beer and hopefully I will find that you have come up with some solution for this problem.

I would appreciate a response so that I know someone has read my letter and will look into this matter.

Devotedly,

Shannon...

Miller Lite Drinker
